Yesterday I traveled to Cooperstown along with the Executive Director of Seven Valleys Health Coalition and the Director of the Cortland County Planning Department to attend a transportation forum hosted by Senators James Seward and Thomas O’Mara.
Representatives from at least 15 counties were there to speak about non-emergency medical transportation and the impact that the statewide Medicaid brokerage system has had on rural transit systems.
Many issues were raised. Stay tuned for updates.
An article from Senator Seward’s website provides an overview.
