As a follow-up to yesterday’s post about the rich being more likely to engage in unethical, antisocial and sometimes illegal behavior, here’s a story from 2010 about a rich Swiss driver having to pay a traffic ticket of $290,000.
Yes, that’s right. He was driving his Ferrari 85 mph in a 50 mph zone and Switzerland is one of several countries where traffic tickets are based on how much you can afford to pay. Plus he was a repeat offender.
You might not feel too bad for the guy when you find out the guy’s worth more than 22 million dollars and owns five villas.
