Walk, don’t run

New research is showing that long slower walks is actually better than short intense exercise.

Sitting is what’s killing us.

So get up and move around. I like the suggestions that when you’re at your desk get up and move around every hour and lift up your legs under your desk and use your core muscles.

And find a way to walk more. Why not walk to work, if not the whole way then part of the way?

Walk/Bike to Work Week is coming the week of May 13. Why not get a team at work together?
