Update on CTAA project

Last Thursday our consultants were here again to meet with the advisory board and to present their third technical memorandum. This session centered on coordination strategies that might work in Cortland County and conceptual alternatives that expand upon the coordination strategies. They also offered their preliminary recommendations.

Some of the coordination strategies – joint procurement, shared vehicle storage & maintenance facilities, joint grant applications, joint training programs, building a coalition, sharing vehicles, and centralized functions.

Some of the recommendations – transit coalition, information call center, relocate downtown transit center, and coordinate routes with SUNY Cortland.

The complete report can be found at LSC’s website.
