Streetfilms How-to and Movie Festival

Streetfilms “travels the world producing short films that show how smart urban design, planning and policy build better communities and more sustainable cities. Launched in 2006, Streetfilms’s 425 videos have been viewed over four million times and have inspired action and change in cities throughout North America and around the world.”

On Monday (April 9th)  they are coming to Ithaca to do a how-to workshop “Blogs… Camera… Action! Advocacy Through Interactive Media: Using Blogging and Web Video to Effect Change.” It will be held at Cornell University, 213 Kennedy Hall from 4:15 – 5:30 pm.

Also on Monday from 7:00 – 8:30 pm in Milstein Auditorium at Cornell, Streetfilms will be showing an hour’s worth of their best films followed by a Q&A with the film director and the Streetsblog editor.
