Going in the same direction –

makes for a better marriage.

It sounds strange but the Atlantic Cities has reported that researchers have found that couples who commute in the same direction are happier than those who don’t. And it doesn’t seem to matter if they leave at different times.

“Just as people who split up are said to ‘part ways,’ the new work suggests that going the same way reflects a broader cognitive commonality and may, in turn, increase interpersonal attraction.”

Who knew?
