Worried about gas prices?

You should be.

Recent news reports have predicted $5.00 per gallon gas prices this summer. We all know that prices have gone up, then gone down, then gone up again even higher. That’s been the pattern in recent history.

Want to get off this merry-go-round?

There are alternatives:

1.  If you’re going somewhere less than  1/2 mile, try walking instead.

2. Try a vanpool or ridesharing arrangement to commute to work. It’s a great way to save money.

3. If you have a bicycle, try using it on some short trips.

4. Use public transit!

( If you are a first time bus rider in Cortland County and need some help navigating the public transit system, we have RSVP volunteers that are willing to help. Call 756-4198 and ask for me. I will arrange for a “Bus Buddy” to go along with you so you can become comfortable riding the bus.)
