Another Super Saturday coming up!

For all you folks who loved our Super Saturday bus routes in February, March and April, you’re in luck.

Our application to the Walmart Foundation was approved so we will be able to offer another Super Saturday on June 4th. By the end of this week we will have flyers circulating around town and bus schedules available at Cortland Transit, two Daily Grind locations, senior centers, libraries and online at www.sevenvalleyshealth.org.

We will once again offer service to rural areas of the county as well as in-town routes.

Some of the special events that day include Safety Day at the Cortlandville Fire Station, the Water Festival at the WaterWorks, and Farmers’ Markets around the area. So get your friends together and hop on the bus. Enjoy a lunch out, do some shopping, visit friends, or run some errands. And if you need to get to/from work check out the bus and see if you can save some money.

If you’ve never taken the bus here, this is the day to try it out and find out just how easy it is. Save money too. It’s  $1.00 per boarding or $.50 if you are older than 60 (show ID),  a youth in grades K-12, or already have a half price discount card. Children under the age of 5 are free (limit 3 to an adult). Sorry, monthly bus passes or tokens cannot be used on Super Saturdays.

For more information give me a call at 756-4198.
