Some train cars in Chicago are going green in a different way.
Last fall a public arts organization, Noisivelet, installed the Mobile Garden on a train in the downtown Loop. For five hours riders were treated to a grassy floor and seats, potted plants on seats and floors, and ivy hanging from chicken wire on the ceiling.
